Best Gaming Laptops reviews 2023

What is the Best Gaming Laptop in the World?

1. ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15

Asus ROG Zephyrus G15, the best gaming laptop in the world, the laptop feels like everything a modern laptop should have. It has a reinforced magnesium chassis and a huge glass-top trackpad. It’s fast, relatively light, and made of the finest materials.

ASUS has placed an eye-catching grid of dots on the top surface. You can tell immediately whether it’s a Zephyrus G14 or a G15. Simple mute design. But on the other hand, you can quickly get dirt and stuff into the hole.

Some things can fit inside the dots. Nevertheless, the Zephyrus G15 GA503 makes a great first impression. There is no print screen key on the keyboard. It’s a key I think few people use anymore.

Speaking of performance, the Zephyrus G15 has a powerful RTX 3080 GPU and AMD’s powerful 5900HS CPU. This chip is fantastic—excellent multi-core performance.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 is an excellent entry-level entry into a mid-range portable laptop that knows what it is and is happy with its limits and features. In terms of ports, ASUS provided two USB Type-C 10GBPS ports instead of Thunderbolt 3.

2. ASUS ROG Zephyrus Flow Z13

ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is a newly released gaming laptop 2022 with an RGB keyboard running Windows 11 Home. The 2022 ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a 13.4-inch display, Full HD+ (1200 x 1920p) resolution, fingerprint scanner, backlit keyboard, and webcam.

If you wish you had a new 2-in-1 laptop with a little more functionality for gaming, the Asus ROG Zephyrus Z13 might be what you’ve been looking for.

Inside the chassis are an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. This gadget comes with 16GB LPDDR4x, 4266MHz RAM, and up to 1TB SSD memory (which works much faster than HHD).

It has a 68 Whr, 4-cell battery that lasts up to 16 hours. The device has 1x USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports that transfer data at 10Gbps. There are also two additional 3.2 USB Type-C ports. ASUS ROG Flow Z13 accepts cards like SD, SDHC, and SDXC.

Other features include a security lock slot, speaker, microphone, 2.0b HDMI, 802.11ax WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.

Aside from these gaming specs, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 looks like a small Windows tablet thanks to its 120Hz screen, 299mm high and 15.8mm thick. The total weight is 1.30 kg (2.9 lbs). Available in black colour.

3. MacBook Air 2022

Apple’s MacBook Air (2022) is the latest gaming laptop with a completely overhauled design, switching to a mini LED display and boasting significantly improved chips.

Apple’s MacBook Air has a 13.3-inch mini LED display, MagSafe, a 1080p webcam, a USB-C port, and the M2, the next-generation processor from the Cupertino tech giant chip.

We can see a design similar to the new MacBook models. That means small bezels and a notch in the display. Since this is a MacBook Air, it is thinner and lighter than the MacBook Pro, so fans should expect some sacrifices.

It does not include SD card readers or HDMI ports. Also, the Air hasn’t included the Pro’s “ProMotion” either. This means no 120Hz display.

The MacBook Air 2022 supports multiple external displays like the M1-Pro-based MacBook Pro models. This suggests we could see an M1 Pro chip if the M2 processor wasn’t introduced.

The bezels and keyboard on the new MacBook Air have an off-white colour with full-size function keys. If the leak is correct, we’ll have to wait and see what this colour scheme looks like.

4. Acer Predator Helios 300

Many gaming laptop companies claim their products are very cheap, but Acer knows how to grab customers’ attention without a big deal. The latest 7th Gen Intel Core i7 laptop, the Acer Predator Helios 300, is a steal.

It packs the powerful Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, which also supports VR mode at a lower price than the competition.

With a 2.8GHz Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU and 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of hardware storage, Acer can take multitasking to the next level.

The durability of this laptop surprises us even more. Running for up to 6.5 hours with WiFi results, the Acer is more advanced than any gaming laptop on the market today.

The two-year warranty is also a plus in terms of customer service. Finally, two plugins connect with the Gear, so upgrading this friend should not be a problem.

The only thing that makes this laptop one step closer to perfection is that the display still needs further development. This version of the Acer Predator Helios 300 is an attractive deal in the mobile gaming market.

The 2022 Helios 300 should be an absolute must-have for gaming laptops. It will surely satisfy you with its improved performance and impressive resilience.

5. Razer Blade 15 (2022)

The new Razer Blade 15 sports an RTX 3080 Ti GPU and a 4K display and is a pretty solid refresh for this rugged gaming laptop.

One of the expensive gaming laptops is powered by 12th Gen Intel CPUs and the latest RTX 30-series laptop GPUs. The 2022 Blade 15 should get your games up and running at their best.

The 2022 model has no noticeable new features, but it’s a pretty interesting laptop to see at CES. We are fans of the Razer Blade 15. Because it offers impressive gaming performance in a very thin package (though you have to pay a perk), and it looks like the 2022 Blade 15 is the best model yet. You can buy Razer Blade 15 (2022) for $$2,978.98 at Amazon.

6. Alienware M17 R5 Ryzen Edition

The Alienware m17 R5 Ryzen isn’t a problem when it comes to delivering raw performance. Alienware has put out all of these 17-inch gaming consoles and can be configured with the latest AMD CPUs and either AMD Radeon RX 6000 series, or Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs makes it one of the most powerful gaming laptops yet to be revealed at CES 2022.

The Alienware m17 R5 Ryzen Edition is particularly impressed with the m17 R5’s eye-catching design and large 17.3-inch screen. Still weighing over 7 pounds, the gaming laptop appears to sit securely on the desk.

The Alienware m17 R5 Ryzen Edition focuses on performance and performance, while the Alienware x14 focuses on portability, the thinnest Alienware. Of course, the starting price of $1,799 is still a bit pricey, but it’s not too expensive for a 14-inch gaming laptop.

Given its sleek design, sharp 14-inch display, 12th Gen Intel CPUs, and RTX 30-series GPUs, this is an ideal rig for those who want to play laptop games or want a machine that doesn’t completely wipe out their bank account.

The Alienware m17 R5 Ryzen Edition is available with a starting price of around $1,599.

7. ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 G733

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 sports a 17.3-inch IPS Full HD display with a 300Hz refresh rate. Powered by a Ryzen 9 processor and RTX 3080, this laptop also features ASUS water cooling technology, making it one of the better cooling systems for a gaming laptop.

The Scar 17 features a ROG signature slash design on the back panel, giving it an asymmetrical look with removable armour plates. The ROG logo is laser engraved on the back of the laptop.

The ROG Strix Scar 17 offers an enjoyable gaming experience with a decent FPS. ASUS has done an excellent job of keeping laptops cool.

If you can’t control the heat and manage it skillfully, your laptop’s lifespan will be greatly reduced, and its overall performance will suffer.

It never felt hot to the touch regarding real-world performance, even if that meant gaming up to 3 hours of daily use.

8. Infinix INBook X1 Laptop

Infinix officially announced the INBook X1. The all-new Infinix INBook X1 comes in a small form factor and is powered by Intel’s 10th generation processors.

The Infinix INBook X1 features a sleek design with a brushed metal design on the top of the back and a matte metal finish on the bottom of the back. The laptop has a 14-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution. The aspect ratio is 16:9, and the brightness is 300 nits.

Under the roof is a 10th Gen Intel Core i3-1005G1 processor with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB of PCIe SSD storage. It comes with integrated UHD graphics from Intel. The front of the laptop has a 720p webcam for video chatting and conferencing.

The Infinix INBook X1It has a 55Wh battery that supports 65W fast charging technology. It is equipped with 2W dual speakers and 2 microphones. Regarding security, there is a fingerprint reader under the chiclet-style keyboard.

For connectivity, there are two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, an HDMI port, an SD card reader slot, and a 2-in-1 headphone jack. The device runs on Windows 10 Home.

9. Razer Blade 14 (2022)

The Razer Blade 14 features AMD’s latest mobile processors and up to the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU. This 14-inch graphics option has been expanded to include Nvidia’s RTX 3080 Ti.

Blade 14 is enhanced with an anti-fingerprint coating, a new Windows Hello compatible 1080p IR webcam, and a MUX switch to manually turn integrated graphics on and off. The new Razer Blade 14 is priced at $1,999.99.

10. Acer Nitro 5

The Acer Nitro 5 gets a more subtle black with red highlights redesigned for 2022. This 15.6-inch gaming laptop has a choice of the latest Intel 12th Gen processors with DDR4-3200MHz RAM or AMD Ryzen 6000 series CPUs and DDR5-4800MHz RAM.

The Intel version offers Thunderbolt 4, and the AMD model offers USB 4.0, so the differences don’t stop there. Both models have two M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots for SSDs, and both feature QHD 165Hz displays. However, the Intel variant allows you to choose a Full HD 144Hz display.

The Intel-based 15.6-inch Nitro 5 is now available in the US for $1,049, and the 17.3-inch model for $1,099. Meanwhile, the AMD-powered 15.6-inch model price is $1,099, and the 17.3-inch model for $1,149.

11. Acer Predator Triton 500 SE

The Acer Predator Triton 500 SE is an updated version of the Acer Predator Triton 500 with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU, and 32GB of RAM.

This is one of the most powerful gaming laptops unveiled at CES 2022. We’re very excited to see how the latest games look on the laptop’s 16-inch (2,560 x 1,660 pixels) display, which can achieve a 240Hz refresh rate with a response time as short as 3ms.

The laptop also has a triple fan system for cooling, and Acer’s Vortex Flow technology helps redirect the airflow these fans create to critical components.

Strategically placed thermal foam, liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU, and four heat pipes also improve cooling performance, and we’d love to mount them directly so you can see how cool they stay even when you apply pressure.

The Acer Predator Triton 500 SE is priced at US$2,830/EUR 2,499.

12. Asus ZenBook 17 Fold OLED

Perhaps the most innovative device on this 2022/2023’s new gaming laptops list, the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is more than just a laptop. A clue to the device’s versatility lies in the name, given that the 17-inch OLED display is collapsible.

It folds up like a laptop, flat like a large tablet, or stands on a 4:3 aspect ratio portrait mode to use as a mini all-in-one with a Bluetooth keyboard in-one PC.

But despite its folding ability, the Zenbook 17 Fold has solid specs, from a 12th-gen Core i7 U-series processor to 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD.

Nonetheless, this laptop marks the beginning of a new era of foldable devices that have grown beyond the best of foldable gaming laptops in 2023.

13. HP Elite Dragonfly G3

The HP Elite Dragonfly G3 could be the perfect laptop for those looking to be more productive in the new hybrid work world we live in today. With the latest 12th Gen Intel CPUs, the 13.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display with a -do-list and 3:2 aspect ratio will be enough for reading emails and writing spreadsheets.

If you want something even better, you can upgrade your Dragonfly G3 to an OLED touchscreen display for better image quality.

Other notable features include Dynamic Voice Leveling, which optimizes voice clarity, AI-powered background noise reduction, Auto Frame face tracking that keeps you in the frame, and AI-powered power management.

For this reason, the HP Elite Dragonfly G3 can be the ultimate hybrid business laptop.

HP has not yet released pricing information for the new Elite Dragonfly G3. The new HP Elite Dragonfly models are scheduled for release in March or April.

14. Lenovo Think book Plus 3rd Gen

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 is a serious competitor to the most innovative laptop unveiled at CES 2022, thanks to its eye-catching ultrawide 17.3-inch display and a smaller 8-inch touchscreen built into the keyboard.

Having tried the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 firsthand during CES, we were impressed by how well the dual screens were integrated into a thin, light design. With a cutting-edge 12th Gen Intel Core H-series CPU, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage, the Plus Gen 3 looks good enough to compete for one of the best laptops on the market.

Plus Gen 3 is on sale in the US with a starting price of $1,399. I’d love to see how the small LCD touchscreen (1280 x 800 pixels) combines with an ultrawide 3K, 120Hz main display (3072 x 1440 pixels, 21:10) and whether this is truly a great laptop for creators.

15. Lenovo Thinkpad Z13 and ThinkPad Z16

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 is one of the first laptops in Lenovo’s new Z-series ThinkPads and boasts a sleek redesign that offers a striking new look. The bezels around the 13.3-inch screen are slimmer. Lenovo claims the Z13 has a 91.6% screen-to-body ratio with OLED.

In addition, a new communication bar built into the centre of the top bezel extends beyond the top edge of the laptop to house the IR webcam and give the Z13 a unique style.

However, the most striking aspect of the Z13 design is Lenovo’s optional black vegan leather trim paired with a bronze chassis tint. It’s a feature you might like or dislike, and we look forward to seeing you in more detail.

And the Z13 with the latest AMD Ryzen 7 PRO U-series CPUs should provide enough performance for almost any business case. And for more performance, Lenovo has also unveiled a larger 16-inch ThinkPad Z16 that can be configured with a more powerful AMD CPU and discrete Radeon GPU for gaming.

Unfortunately, the Z16 doesn’t have a leather trim option (yet).

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 is a new 13-inch ThinkPad shipping with Windows 11 in May 2022, starting at $1,549.

On the other hand, Lenovo ThinkPad Z16’s pricing starts at $2,099. Available in Arctic Gray colour and available from May 2022.

We will keep updating this new best gaming laptop list for 2022/2023.
